Steve Morris

Myotherapist
Member of IRMA

Steve is a professional, friendly and easy-going Myotherapist. He graduated from 4 years of study at the Southern School of Natural Therapies with a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy. Growing up in the regional centre of Ballarat, Steve has always had a great love of sport. This passion initially led him to study Human Movement, before his own sporting injuries guided him to healing through Myotherapy.

Steve comes from a background of sports-related treatment, and was the myotherapist for a Melbourne based State League 2 Soccer Club, before joining Wind Water Health. He uses a range of treatment modalities to get the best possible results for his clients. These include massage, trigger point therapy, TENS, cupping, heat/cryotherapy, joint mobilisation, dry-needling and corrective exercises. Steve can effectively treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and dysfunction including headache and low back pain, overuse, sporting and occupational injuries, and general aches and pains.

Although he loves every aspect of Myotherapy, Steve particularly enjoys the problem solving aspect of treatment. Uniting his comprehensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system with orthopaedic testing and assessment techniques, Steve is able to come to an understanding of his clients' problems, develop an appropriate treatment program, and help restore wellbeing.
