Cupping & Gua Sha

CuppingAs a result of each technique, some superficial bruising may occur. This may not be a look we would ordinarily seek out, but it does not indicate harmful damage to the body. This bruising may be likened to the growth from phenomena commonly exhibited in the body.

For example, after a strong workout our muscles may ache, but then they grow firmer and stronger.

Like the ache after a workout, the superficial bruising associated with cupping heralds the strengthening and growth of underlying muscles and tissues.

These techniques promote the growth of strong, healthy tissue and refresh the blood supply, improving nutrient delivery and waste removal systems of the body. The positive effects of these techniques are profound.
