Julia's Story
Julia grew up in a family that was influenced by oriental medicine. She has memories of taking dark and bitter herbal concoctions every change of season (according to the 5-element theory of health) in order to:

-
fortify the kidneys in winter,
-
cleanse the liver in spring,
-
strengthen the heart in summer
-
nourish the digestion in late summer
-
support the lungs in autumn
The traditional methods of preventing disease before it occurs by using herbal medicines has always fascinated her from a young age.
